Our Sympathies - California Wildfires

To the campus community,

During the past several days, we’ve watched the horrific devastation from the raging Los Angeles fires. The shocking apocalyptic images remind us that nothing is more important than preserving life and protecting our communities.

On behalf of the Oakland University family, our sympathies go out to those who are directly affected along with those from the OU community who have friends and relatives in southern California.

In these difficult days, may we find solace in the perseverance of the human spirit.
